Background

PE & Sport Premium at Hambrook Primary School

The government provides primary schools with PE & Sport Premium funding to improve PE, sport and physical activity. This money is ring-fenced, which means it can only be spent on additional and sustainable improvements beyond the PE curriculum.

At Hambrook, we use this funding to:

• Improve staff training and confidence in PE
• Offer a wide range of sports and clubs
• Increase opportunities for active play and competitive sport
• Help all children take part in regular physical activity
