Friends of Hambrook Primary School
Friends of Hambrook School (FoHS)
FoHS is a registered charity open to parents/carers, teaching staff and Governors to ensure that Hambrook pupils receive additional resources and opportunities that the school's budget cannot cover. We hold fundraising events throughout the year, including a Christmas and summer fayre, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gift room, movie nights, school discos and cake sales.
The FoHS Committee is made up of a Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and Class Reps. The current committee members are:
Chair: Brooke Irwin
Treasurer: Kirsty Erwood-Britton
Secretary: Position Vacant
Class Reps:
Reception: Georgia Motsi
Year 1: Naomi Bowler
Year 2: Kate Webster
Year 3: Ali Knight
Year 4: Gemma Emmett & Hannah Keary
Year 5: Sophie Fidoe
Year 6: Naomi Hoare
How we operate
The Friends of Hambrook School committee is independent of the school, and meets every 6-8 weeks to plan fundraising and community enrichment events. We work with the school to decide how the funds should be spent; recently we’ve funded adventure playground resources and library books.
We’re a fun and friendly team, and we welcome volunteers on a regular or ad hoc basis. If you’ve got feedback or ideas for events, please get in touch with your class rep or through our email hambrookpta@gmail.com.
