TERM 2 2021

Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Term 2. We are excited to share lots of exciting events planned this term (more details below). We are also pleased to share with you our new newsletter format, we hope that this will be more user-friendly and accessible. A new newsletter will be uploaded at the start of each term. Our school calendar and newsletters can all be found on our website to help you stay up to date with events and school news.

Thank you for your continued support

Mrs. Rubel and Miss Cholmondeley

We are delighted to invite parents/carers to the following Christmas events including a new carol concert being held at St Michael's Church in Winterbourne. More details about booking a place will be sent out nearer the time. All children in KS1 will need to attend both nativity performances and all KS2 children are asked to attend the KS2 carol concert.

KS2 Carol Concert at Church

Currently, we are planning for these events to be 'in person' events with parents/carers coming into school/ St Michael's Church. However, we also need to plan for other possibilities. If COVID cases rise and we are not allowed to have these events with parents/carers in school/Church we are aiming to video these performances to share with you all. We need your help with this. Do any parents/carers have the equipment and time to video our nativity and carol concert performances? If you would be able to help with this please contact us. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Parents' Evenings

Parents' Evenings will be happening on Monday 22nd November and Wednesday 24th November 3.30-6.10pm. You will shortly be receiving link from the office to book your slot.

We will be sending home English and Mathematics books on Thursday 18th November for you to enjoy looking at with your child. We politely request that these are returned to school (with your child) on Friday 19th November.
